SELF CARE IS A REVOLUTIONARY ACT
“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation,
and that is an act of political warfare.”
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
It is essential that Black femmes are cared for because of the multiple layers of aggression and oppression that we face without relief.
When left unaddressed these social barriers cascade into many faceted stress-triggered ailments, including early death. BWU is dedicated to being the soft-landing space that provides the tools for accepting and receiving care.
As we all work to navigate the changing world due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We have collected resources that can help you and your family cope. If you would like to add your essential services to the list please contact Black Womxn United directly.
